Stem Cell Therapy

Treat common chronic conditions.

Stem Cell Therapy benefits dogs and cats suffering from osteoarthritis, hip dysplasia and other degenerative diseases.

PLEASE NOTE: Adipose Stem Cell technology DOES NOT involve embryonic stem cells. VetStem's Stem Cell kits use the adult animal’s own stem cells to heal and repair, therefore there are no ethical issues and the method is extremely safe.

We have seen dramatic improvement in pain relief and range of motion for dogs and cats suffering from osteoarthritis, hip dysplasia and other degenerative diseases. Moreover, if you have pet insurance, most companies cover 80 percent of the cost. Visit VetStem for more information on stem cell procedures.

What is the Process?
Stem cells are processed from your animal’s own fat.  This is done by placing your pet under general anesthesia and making an abdominal incision to harvest the fat.

Day 1
NAAH collects the fat from your animal.  This is a surgery done under general anesthesia with an approximate cost of $3200
Day 2
VetStem processes the fat to concentrate the stem cells
Day 3
NAAH injects stem cells into the affected area.  The first injection is included in the surgical costs but future injections have an approximate cost of $860

The remaining stem cells are cryobanked with VetStem and will have an annual storage fee assessed by them directly.

Future treatments are done when the pets response declines and can vary from multiple times yearly to annual or longer.
